Bond set at $50,000 for gang member arrested in Butler County

Bond was set at $50,000 for a Dayton man and alleged national gang member charged with two felony counts of drug possession, according to Area II Court records.

FIRST REPORT: Alleged gang member arrested in Butler County

William Bragg II, 26, was charged with two counts of possession of drugs, both felonies, said Sgt. Mike Hackney from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested Friday night after he was found to have drug paraphernalia inside a Monroe hotel, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office said.

Bragg allegedly has ties with the MS13 gang, which started in Los Angeles, police said.

Bragg remains in the Butler County Jail, records show. He will return to court for his preliminary hearing later this month.
