Detectives are investigating how her body was taken to the woods because that is not where she died, according to Reeve.
Dalton had reportedly been missing since July 27.
INITIAL REPORT:
The Butler County Coroner’s Office said it is investigating the death of a Middletown woman found Sunday in a wooded area near Wilbraham Road.
Police Chief Rodney Muterspaw told this news outlet the woman’s family, who had reported her missing a few days ag0, had been notified.
The woman’s name has not been released.
