St. Clair Twp. couple arrested on multiple drug charges

A St. Clair Twp. couple was arrested on Thursday for multiple drug offenses including possession of heroin, according to a press release today from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Richard K. Jones said the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force arrested Jamie and Jessica Lissal. Jamie Lissal, 35, is charged with trafficking in drugs, three counts of possession of drugs and tampering with evidence. Jessica Lissal, 35, is charged with possession of heroin, two counts of aggravated possession of drugs and tampering with evidence.

BURN agents executed a search warrant at the Lissal’s residence in the 4000 block of Hamilton-Trenton Road, according to the press release. As a result, the couple may face additional charges for possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, weapons under disability and receiving stolen property.

The sheriff’s office said this has been an ongoing investigation and to date has resulted in seizures of approximately $4,000, a 1997 Ford RV, a 2001 Honda motorcycle, a 1995 Ford truck. a 2002 Dodge Durango and a 2007 Dodge Charger.
