The Dutch Corp. originally purchased the property for $2 million in 1998.
Prior to the purchase, the church rented the 4,187-square-foot retail building adjacent to the former restaurant.
It is not clear at this point what the church’s plans are for the site.
Between 2010 and now, the village of Waynesville worked to attract a series of prospective buyers to the site, including Premier Health Partners.
