Carriage Hill rezoning paves way for expansion

Trustees here this week approved a rezoning for Carriage Hill subdivision, paving the way for an expansion of the high-profile community.

A unanimous vote Tuesday changed 46 acres from Agricultural to Residential Planned Unit Development, and modified the boundary line between the existing Residential PUD and Mixed Used PUD.

In addition, major modifications to the overall PUD plan were approved for the site.

The Journal-News reported on May 12 that Carriage Hill developers had purchased land in Liberty Twp. for future development.

That brings the housing subdivision to approximately 450 acres and nearly 500 units. Plans also include mixed use development including retail facing Ohio 747.

Construction on Carriage Hill started in 2012 and the community was featured by the Homebuilders Association of Greater Cincinnati during Homearama 2013 and Homearama 2014.
