Verizon expands coverage in area

BUTLER COUNTY — Verizon Wireless announced today, July 9, the activation of a new cell site that will improve cell phone reception in Hamilton and other areas.

The investment improves coverage in Indian Springs and Princeton as well, and along portions of Ohio 129 east to Ohio 747; from Ohio 4 south to Tylersville Road; and from Kristine Drive east to Liberty Fairfield Road, Verizon officials said.

In the first half of this year, Verizon officials said the company invested more than $160 million in its Ohio network.
