The Ohio Corn Growers Association and Ohio Wheat Growers Association have merged to form a single organization, effective Jan. 1.
The Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association will represent growers of both crops in the areas of energy, livestock, trade, environment, transportation issues and relief programs, as well as research and marketing programs.
Association officials said the merger will give the combined organizations more clout.
