Small business seminars set for Cincinnati, Wilmington

CINCINNATI — Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, will be hosting small business seminars on Tuesday in Cincinnati and Wilmington.

Small business owners seeking to grow their businesses can learn what resources are available through the federal government such as financing through the Small Business Administration, new tax incentives, and increasing export sales.

Topics will also include information about SBA loan incentives, what the health law means for a business, and energy incentives for businesses.

Members of Brown’s staff as will as representatives of the SBA, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Meetings will be held:

• 10 a.m. to noon at the Sycamore Senior Center, 4455 Carver Woods Drive, Cincinnati. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.;

• 2 to 4 p.m. at the Wilmington City Building community room, 69 N. South St., Wilmington. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m.
