Practice info session for Primary Care Initiative

Staff Report

Cincinnati, Dayton and Springfield primary care practices interested in applying to participate in the region’s Comprehensive Primary Care pilot program are invited to an upcoming information session held by The Health Improvement Collaborative of Greater Cincinnati.

The session is 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Miami University Voice of America Learning Center, 7847 VOA Park Drive, West Chester Twp.

Program partners from the region and a representative from Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation will be available to review the program details and answer questions about eligibility, the application process, program benefits and requirements, according to the Health Collaborative.

To register, go online to www.the-collaborative.org/ and click the link “June 16 information session.”

It was announced in April that the Cincinnati-Dayton corridor would be one of seven markets nationwide in a Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative, part of the federal health care overhaul to transform how 75 of the region’s primary care practices are paid. STAFF REPORT
