Ohio companies organizing aerospace for air show in England

Staff Report

Ohio is once again planning to promote its aerospace industry at an international air show.

Leaders of the state’s aerospace industry are organizing a booth for the Farnborough Air Show in England, scheduled for the week of July 9. Ohio companies that advertised their services last year at Ohio’s booth at the Paris Air Show landed contracts as a result, officials said.

Among the companies that participated in last year’s Ohio booth and are returning this year are Maverick/Renegade Materials, from Springboro, and Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services, of Wilmington, organizers of Ohio’s effort said.

TechSolve, a Cincinnati nonprofit organization that helps small- and midsize companies improve their manufacturing and other business processes, is coordinating the Ohio effort for the Farnboroughf Air Show.
