Intelligent Decisions, a Virginia-based defense contractor with an office in Beavercreek, has been named to CRN’s 2012 Solutions Provider 500 list, which ranks the top technology integrators in North America.

Formerly known as the “VAR 500,” the annual list ranks the highest producing information technology organizations in terms of hardware sales, software sales and managed IT services.

Intelligent Designs ranked 50th on the list, rising four spots from last year. The company’s revenue grew from $430 million in 2010 to more than $460 million last year, resulting in its rise in the rankings, officials said.

Intelligent Decisions in February held a local job fair to begin hiring the 50 to 100 people it expects to hire this year to compete for work serving agencies at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. DAVE LARSEN
