First Financial names new CFO

First Financial Bancorp announced Friday a new chief financial officer to succeed long-time executive Frank Hall.

Anthony Stollings, executive vice president and chief risk officer, was named the company’s new CFO effective Friday.

Frank Hall, executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief operating officer, will assist First Financial in the transition until his departure, which is expected to be April 30, the company said. Hall’s departure is unrelated to the company’s financial condition, financial reporting practices or investments, First Financial said.

Hall has a 13-year tenure with First Financial.

“He has been an influential leader with a key focus on company-wide financial and operational disciplines,” said Claude Davis, president and chief executive officer of First Financial, in a statement.

“For over 13 years, I have had the privilege of working with First Financial Bancorp. Over that time, the company has nearly doubled in size and we have positioned it well for future growth and profitability,” Hall said in a statement.

Stollings joined First Financial in December 2006, and has been chief risk officer since September 2011.

First Financial also announced preliminary financial results for the fourth quarter 2012. First Financial expects fourth quarter earnings per share to be in the range of 26 cents to 28 cents.

Fourth quarter and full-year 2012 financial results will be reported January 29.
