Fifth Third Bank Monday named Chad Borton as senior vice president and head of retail banking.
Prior to joining Cincinnati-based Fifth Third, Borton held various senior management positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Most recently, Borton was head of branch administration of JPMorgan, according to Fifth Third.
Fifth Third’s previous head of retail banking was Ray Webb, according to Fifth Third spokeswoman Stephanie Honan. Webb has moved to a new position with the bank, Honan said.
Fifth Third has 185 bank branches in the Cincinnati-Dayton region. It is the largest banking company in the Dayton metropolis by assets of $2.4 billion, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
