HAMILTON — The Greater Butler County Business Hall of Fame is set to induct five people tonight into the Class of 2010.

“They are all selected by their peers,” said Carol Lucio, the executive director of Junior Achievement OKI Partners Inc., the organization that presents the annual ceremony.

“They are selected not just for what they have done from a business standpoint, Lucio said. “It also has to do with what they have done from a philanthropic standpoint and what they have done to make our community better.”

Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kenny Craig said the event is a great time for the business community.

“Rarely do we recognize business leaders for the business success and the involvement in the community, and this is the time to do that,” he said.

Those who officially will join the Hall of Fame at the sold-out laureate induction ceremony tonight at the Courtyard by Marriott, 1 Riverfront Plaza in Hamilton are:

• Michael P. Dingeldein, SHP Leading Design;

• William R. Foster, retired Butler County engineer;

• William C. Keck, Millikin & Fitton Law Firm;

• Mary J. Reimer, GBR Group LLC; and

• Craig F. Wilks, Wilks Insurance Agency.

“These people are outstanding individuals because of not what they’ve gotten, but what they’ve given,” Lucio said. “These are the kinds of people that we should be emulating. These are the people we should be holding out in front of our youth to say here’s who you should be like.”

The event starts with a reception at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. and the program at 8 p.m.
