To assure the purity of their water, affected residents are advised to either boil their water vigorously for at least two minutes or use bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes.
“This is purely a precautionary measure,” the county water and sewer department said in the boil advisory. “The likelihood of contamination is extremely minimal.”
