HAMILTON — A single-vehicle crash this afternoon, Jan. 5, sent one woman to the hospital via medical helicopter, according to Hamilton police.
Emergency crews responded to the crash shortly before 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Bristol Court and Brookwood Avenue. Police said a 41-year-old woman was seriously injured after being ejected from the wrecked vehicle, which flipped and landed on its top.
The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to The Fort Hamilton Hospital and then transported via medical helicopter to University Hospital, said Hamilton police spokesman Rich Burkhardt.
The crash is under investigation. Burkhardt said the area where the crash occurred is residential and not busy with traffic.
