Debris pickup plans for Dayton region

The following is a list of communities in our area and how they plan to handling debris pickup:
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Butler Twp.: The township will pick up limbs less than 6" in diameter, or yard debris can be taken to the service center at 3710 W. National Road. Other debris will be collected by Waste Management, bundles under 50 pounds.
Dayton: Normal pickup schedule. Cut and tie into 4-foot-by-4-foot bundles.
Englewood: Rumpke Waste Removal and Recycling will collect on the regular trash day. Bundles 40 pound or less. Composting facility, 333 East Wenger Road, will also accept yard waste 24 hours.
Huber Heights: Curbside over the next week. Cut to no larger than 6 inches in diameter and 8 feet long.
Kettering: Curbside on Monday, Sept. 22. Maximum lengths of 6 feet. Or drop off at the City Yard Debris Center on Woodman Center Drive or former Gentile/DESC site.
Riverside: Curbside, cut into 4-foot bundles. Bulky trash pick-up at 333-4800.
Centerville: public works crews will be assisting city property owners over the next several weeks with the removal of tree limbs and other tree-related debris from the recent storm. Property owners are asked to take all tree-related debris to the curb. Do not place any debris in the roadway or block the sidewalk. Cutting and bundling is not required for large branches as street crews will be equipped with chain saws. Residents are encouraged to continue to tie-up small branches and yard debris into bundles less than four feet in length and less than 40 lbs. to be removed with their regular weekly refuse service. This is a free, emergency-related service that is being offered for storm-related debris only. Residents using tree removal contractors for storm-related work are encouraged to have the debris and trimmings removed by the service. Centerville City crews will make every effort to continue to circulate throughout the community over the next several weeks in an effort to remove storm- related debris. Miamisburg: Curbside or drop-off at Rice Field on Dayton-Cincinnati Pike. Bundle small limbs and cut large branches into approximately 3-foot sections.
Bellbrook: Will pick up yard debris placed at the curb. Must be less than 10 feet in length and less than 10 inches in diameter.
Sugarcreek Twp.: Will pick up all yard debris placed at the curb. Debris can also be brought to the township administration building at 2090 Ferry Road.
Moraine: Curbside, cut into small pieces.
West Carrollton: Curbside, leaves in containers or bags and branches smaller than a foot in diameter cut into 4-foot sections and bundlede. For large items, call (937) 859-8280.
Miami Township: Curbside, cut into small pieces.
Trotwood: Curbside through Sept 30. Cut to 4 inches in diameter or smaller.
Vandalia: Rumpke will collect on the regular trash day. Bundles must weigh less than 40 pounds.
Washington Twp.: Curbside by the end of this week by township three trash collectors — Waste Management, Allied Waste Systems and Rumpke – on normal collection day. Bundles no larger than 4 feet long and 2 feet wide.
Montgomery County Solid Waste District: Until Oct. 1, fee is $15 per ton at 6589 N. Webster St. in Vandalia and 1001 Encrete Lane in Moraine.
GREENE COUNTY
Sugarcreek Twp.: Drop off at the township administration building, 2090 Ferry Road.
Xenia: Curbside, or to the yard-waste facility, 2145 Greene Way Blvd.
Beavercreek: Curbside to begin next week or drop off 2260 Dayton-Xenia Road (near Rotary Park).
WARREN COUNTY
Waynesville: Curbside pickup. Cut to less than 10 feet long.
Springboro: Curbside Thursday and Friday, Sept. 18-19. Cut and bundle. Take debris too large for pickup to dump site at the entrance to North Park on Tamarack Trail through Sunday, Sept. 21.
Lebanon: Curbside, cut into pieces less than 8 feet over the next few weeks. Or drop off at the Colonial West parking lot.
Deerfield Twp.: Curbside collection begins Monday.
Mason: Brush chipping by city crews. Or drop off tree branches only at the Public Works Garage, 4211 State Route 741.
Turtlecreek Twp.: Curbside, cut into manageable pieces and stack.
Hamilton Twp.: Curbside, cut into 16 inch of less pieces and leave in a pile.
South Lebanon: Drop off debris at Rogers Park by evening on Thursday, Sept. 18.
Carlisle: With proof of residency, drop off behind police station on Fairview Avenue from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Franklin: Curbside or drop at the shooting range off Baxter Drive.
Franklin Twp.: Curbside if small enough to fit in a chipper. Of drop off behind the township building at Fairview Avenue and Union Road.
Madison Twp.: Curbside up to 8 inches in diameter.
Middletown: Rumpke curbside of limbs cut into small, manageable piles. Or with proof of residency, bring one truckload Mulch Plus, 2856 Cincinnati Dayton Road, at no cost.
Monroe: Curbside, no larger than 2-3 inches in diameter.
Trenton: Rumpke will pickup small bundles of brush no larger than 2 by 4-feet. Larger debris can be left at the curb to be chipped by two chippers that are circulating through the city.
MIAMI COUNTY
Piqua: Curbside through Friday, Sept. 19. Schedule drop-off time for compost facility by calling (937) 778-2095.
CLARK COUNTY
Springfield: Drop off through Friday at the old International Harvester plant.
New Carlisle: Curbside in coming weeks up to 4 inches in diameter and up to 5 feet long. Or drop off up to 4 inches in diameter and up to 5 feet long at 600 W. Madison St.
Springfield Twp.: Curb side pick-up to begin soon. Drop off at the township composting site noon to 3:30 p.m.
Bethel Twp.: Call (937) 845-9313 to be on the list for curbside pickup.
German Twp.: Curbside, Must be 4 inches in diameter or smaller.
Moorefield Twp.: Curbside pickup through the last Monday in September.
BUTLER COUNTY
Oxford, Hamilton, Fairfield and portions of Middletown: Rumpke pickup. Bundles no longer than 4 feet and under 50 pounds.
West Chester Twp.,: Free drop-off at Beckett Park.
