GHCT conducts auditions for musical

HAMILTON — The Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre will conduct auditions for Stephen Sondheim's musical revue "Putting It Together" at 7 p.m. Aug. 12-13. They will be at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, 101 S. Monument Ave. Auditions must be prepared to sing a Sondheim piece and provide the written piano accompaniment. No recordings may be used. A piano accompanist will be provided. 

Casting requirements include: three male singer-actors: one stage age 40-50, two stage ages mid 20s-40 and two female singer-actors, one stage age 40-50, one stage age 20-late 30s.  Show dates are Oct. 9-12 at Parrish Auditorium, Miami University Hamilton.

b>Encore to present 'Les Meserables'

HAMILTON — The Encore Youth Theatre will perform "Les Meserables: School Edition" at 8 p.m. July 30-31 and Aug. 1-2, and 2 p.m. Aug. 2.

The play will be on the stage of the Parrish Auditorium at Miami University Hamilton.
