Man stabbed in knife fight outside fast-food restaurant

MIDDLETOWN — A Hamilton man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed another man in the Burger King parking lot on Breiel Boulevard.
Police were dispatched to the restaurant on a report of a large fight involving knives at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, May 13.

Officers found Branden Bolin, 18, bleeding from a stab wound stretching from his left pectoral muscle to his back. Bolin was not listed as a patient at Atrium Medical Center on Wednesday night.
Walter L. Lumpkin, 39, was charged with felonious assault with a weapon and driving while intoxicated after police stopped him leaving the scene of the fight.
Lumpkin had vomit on his shirt and inside his vehicle, which also contained knives and a pipe, according to the police report.
Lumpkin's bond was set at $100,000 and he is due in court at 2:30 p.m. May 21 for a preliminary hearing.
