AK Steel Corp. said it will discuss first quarter 2008 financial earnings in a Web cast — with company executives discussing results with industry analysts — at 11 a.m. April 22.

For more information, go to www.aksteel.com, where the Web cast may be heard live over the Internet, the company said Tuesday, April 15.

The event will be archived on the company's Web site following the call until April 29, and will be accessible from the site, the steelmaker said.

Headquartered in Butler County's West Chester Twp., AK Steel has a steel plant and research center in Middletown.
