Police reports: Catalytic converters taken from parked vehicles

Fairfield Police Reports

Theft of two catalytic converters valued at $500 each from cars parked at Symmes Auto Sales at 1165 Symmes Road Monday, March 17.

Theft of a television from an apartment in the 300 block of Connie Court Tuesday, March 18.

Theft of 20 DVDs and three video tapes with a total value of $215 from a home in the 2000 block of Woodtrail Drive Wednesday, March 19.

Theft of a Bobcat skid loader valued at $13,312 from Silverhawk Inc. at 8657 North Gilmore Road Wednesday, March 19.

A Fairfield man, 46, was arrested Wednesday, March 19 for driving while intoxicated and failure to control his vehicle after colliding with a police cruiser at the intersection of Woodridge Boulevard and Providence Drive. The suspect was taken to Butler County Jail.

A Fairfield woman, 52, was arrested Wednesday, March 19, for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at the intersection of Mack Road and Providence Drive.

A Cincinnati man, 35, was arrested Sunday, March 23 for two counts of driving while intoxicated and one count of speeding after a traffic stop at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Donald Drive.

A Fairfield man, 79, was arrested Monday, March 24 for driving while intoxicated, speeding, driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident after a traffic accident at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Magie Avenue. The suspect was cited and released.

A Hamilton woman, 47, was arrested Monday, March 24 for driving while intoxicated and possession of prescription drugs after a traffic stop at the intersection of Magie and Pleasant avenues.

A Cincinnati man, 24, was arrested Tuesday, March 25, for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at the intersection of Boymel Drive and Dixie Highway.

Fairfield Twp. Police Reports

A Fairfield Twp. woman, 36, was arrested Thursday, March 20, at Target, 3369 Princeton Road, on suspicion of theft. The woman, who was an employee of the store, allegedly stole $3,000 between Feb. 21 and March 20.

A Hamilton woman, 19, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. Thursday, March 20, on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired and underage alcohol consumption.

A Liberty Twp. man, 43, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Millikin Road and Morris Road on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired.

A Somerville man, 26, was arrested at 10:41 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Rentschler Estates on Cumberland Drive on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired and possession of drugs, including methamphetamine.

A Middletown man, 32, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Hamilton-Mason Road on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol. The man allegedly wrecked his vehicle, then told an officer who responded to the scene that he had consumed "about nine beers earlier," according to police reports. When the man failed a Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test but police could not perform two other tests on him because he was swaying back and forth and needed assistance standing. When informed by police that he was under arrest for OVI, the man said, "That was probably a good idea."
