Located in southwestern Ohio, about 20 miles north of Cincinnati, the City of Fairfield is home to 45,000 residents. Situated along the northern loop of Interstate 275, Fairfield is conveniently positioned within minutes of a variety of recreational, cultural and business areas. The City's direct interstate connections via Union Centre Boulevard and State Route 4 provide convenient access to I-275, I-75, I-71 and I-74. State Route 4 and Bypass 4 also offer a quick, direct route to the Butler County Regional Airport.

Fairfield is a prime business address featuring more than 1,200 businesses. The City boasts the corporate headquarters for Cincinnati Financial Corporation, Ohio Casualty Corporate offices and Skyline Chili, among others.

City services are funded primarily through the City's one and one-half percent income tax and the local share of real estate taxes. Bodies found shot to death

The bodies of a man and woman found shot to death in the parking lot of Jellybean Junction daycare facility in Fairfield had gunshot wounds to the head. The bodies were discovered by a lawncare service employee in a Jeep Cherokee at Mack and Winton Roads around 9:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26 -- three hours after the daycare center opened.
