NEW YORK — JetBlue is running a one-day sale Thursday on international and domestic flights with fares between $29 and $129 each way.
Theairline said sale fares are for travel between Dec. 2 and Dec 16 as well as between Jan. 6 to Jan. 28, with some blackout dates. The sale is not valid on tickets for travel on Jan 14, 15, 18 and 19.
Most of the discounted fares originate from JetBlue's home base at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. Destinations range from close spots such as Boston to Caribbean locations such as Saint Lucia.
The sale ends at 11:59 p.m. eastern time.
JetBlue has run one-day sales before, mostly for slower-travel dates surrounding hot travel periods like Thanksgiving and Christmas. It often advertises these short sales and promotions on its Twitter feed.
The most popular and widespread of its recent unique promotions was the company's All-You-Can-Jet pass, which allowed passengers to travel to an unlimited number of spots in one month for $599. The pass was valid from Sept. 8 to Oct. 8, a typically sluggish travel period wedged between summer vacations and winter holidays.
In midday trading JetBlue shares fell 30 cents, or 5.5 percent, to $5.17.
