HAMILTON — A fundraiser to increase awareness of metastatic breast cancer will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Ryan’s Tavern, 241 High St.
Debbi Tincher, kindergarten teacher at St. Peter in Chains school who is battling the disease, will host the event. Donations will support the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network.
Mayor Don Ryan recently proclaimed Oct. 13, 2009 “Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day” in Hamilton. Currently there are 155,000 Americans living with the incurable disease, according to the MBCN.
The event will feature family-oriented activities including a clown and kids entertainment; music, dancing, light hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, raffles, split the pot and more.
For more information, contact Heather Kessler at (513) 314-3038.
