HAMILTON — Military boot camp isn't supposed to be easy.
It's getting up early for physical training, getting pushed toward your goal by drill sergeants, and running ... a lot.

Nick Ardizzone knows about the rigors of boot camp and has decided to bring that experience to Hamilton.
The former Marine drill instructor conducts a six-week fitness boot camp at his gym, Zone Fitness, to try to motivate and help people get into shape.
"I was in the Marine for 13 years. I was a drill instructor in South Carolina in Paris Island," he said. "I do a watered-down boot camp version at my gym. Everybody is in formation and they have to sound off.
"The age range is for people 7 to 70. Anyone can do it."
Ardizzone should know.
He has been on local and
national radio, television and has been mentioned on the "Oprah" show for his training abilities. He has also worked with clients not only locally but nationally and internationally.
"I am going to make you go at a 110 percent," he said. "At the end of it, you are not competing with anyone but yourself. It's a lot of fun."
For more information about the boot camp, contact Ardizzone at (513) 894-9663. For a lighter version, join walkers from the JournalNews, Ft. Hamilton Hospital, The Greater Miami Valley YMCA and Ohio Casualty everyday at 11:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. along the Great Miami River walking trail.
The daily weekday walk will culminate in a 5K run/walk at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 starting behind the Fitton Center for the Arts.
