Three fire departments battle blaze in West Elkton

WEST ELKTON — Fire units from Gratis, Camden and West Elkton battled a fire in the Village of West Elkton tonight, April 4.
Fire was reported about 7:45 p.m. at 146 Bechwood Drive. Wayne Twp. firefighters in Butler County were called for assistance to bring a tanker to the scene, but were later canceled, according to Preble County Sheriff's Office dispatchers.
Heavy damage is reported to the home but no injuries are reported. Firefighters remain on the scene tonight.
