Fenwick participates in honor band weekend

The College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati will be the sight for the first Southwestern Ohio Catholic Honor Band Weekend March 20-22. Instrumental musicians from area Catholic high schools throughout the Archdiocese of Cincinnati will participate, including those from Bishop Fenwick, Alter, Badin, Carroll, Chaminade-Julienne, Elder, LaSalle, McNicholas and Roger Bacon.
Guest Conductor David Shaffer, composer and marching band director for Miami University in Oxford, will conduct three musical pieces he composed. Fenwick's Band Director Jason Umberg will emcee the event at 2 p.m. in the College of Mount Saint Joseph's theater.
