Butler County Grand Jury

A Butler County grand jury returned 32 indictments during its third session in September. The grand jury also returned six case to the lower courts for further disposition.

Eden Ivan Alba Gomez, 18, 36 Convair, Hamilton; indicted on one count each of possession of cocaine and falsification.

Tabitha Turner Holland, 38, 232 Starr, Hamilton; certified back to the lower court on one count of open container.

Dustin Lema, 27, 131 Fox Ave., Hamilton; indicted on one count of felonious assault.

Dustin Cook, 23, 194 Augspurger Ave., Hamilton; certified back to the lower court on one count of assault.

Victor Davis, 19, 2575 Madison, Hamilton; certified back to the lower court on one count of possession of marijuana.

Derell M. Miles, 19, 1814 Grand Ave., Middletown; indicted on one count each of trafficking in cocaine and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Daryl Vince Barbary Jr., 25, Salem St., Apt. 6, Cincinnati; indicted on one count each of trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine.

Terry Wayne Adkins, 28, 1635 Chippewa, Hamilton; certified back to the lower courts on one count of assault.

Timothy Roark, 20, 3027 Mohawk St., Middletown; indicted on one count each of receiving stolen property, breaking and entering, and grand theft (direct).

Shawn Taylor, 34, 400 Millville, Apt. 2, Hamilton; indicted on one count each of forgery, obstructing official business, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.

William A. Wofford Jr., 21, 1425 Young St., Middletown; indicted on one count each of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence (direct).

Miguel Indale Gutierrez, 25, 705 Hanover St., Hamilton; indicted on two counts of burglary.

Eric J. Minton, 22, 5660 Greenwood Church Road, Liberty, Ind.; indicted on one count each of carrying concealed weapons, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana.

Robert Ross, 34, 302 Progress, Hamilton; indicted on nine counts of possession of cocaine (direct), eight counts of trafficking in cocaine (direct), three counts of aggravated possession of drugs (direct), two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs (direct) and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity (direct).

Rebecca Suttles, 36, 302 Progress, Hamilton; indicted on one count each of permitting drug abuse (direct), trafficking in cocaine (direct) and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity (direct).

James Britton Fitzhugh, 20, 5174 Porsche Drive, Hamilton; indicted on two counts each of endangering children (direct) and rape (direct).

Butler County Sheriff's Office

Charles Fay of the 100 block of Point Bluff Drive, Decatur, Ill., lost is computer on Sept. 14 in the parking lot of Lakota East High School on Lakota Lane. Fay said he set the laptop valued at $800 down then drove off without it.

About $40 in gas was siphoned from a van owned by Donald Beckett while it was parked at his business, Don's Carryout on Hamilton-Richmond Road, Darrtown, overnight Sept. 11.

A garage door at the Larry Marshall Jr. residence in the 5000 block of Darcie Drive was dented about 4 p.m. Sept. 15, apparently by a juvenile who threw a skateboard.

Larry Jennings of Cincinnati was driving on Yankee Road near Middletown at about 3:10 p.m. Sept. 14 when a sheet of drywall struck the left quarter panel of his Toyota Camry.

Thieves took items from four vehicles parked at residences in the 3000 block of Fear Not Mill Road an one on Black Oak Court between 11 p.m. Sept. 7 and 7 a.m. Sept. 8. A digital camera and money totaling $184 was stolen from the vehicles.

The mailbox at the James Reinard residence in the 6000 block of Castle Hill Road was damaged overnight Sept. 13 by vandals.

Chad Fry of Stillwell-Beckett Road was arrested Sept. 14 night for possession of criminal tools and theft for allegedly grabbing a black cord from the sign at Couch's Market on Hamilton-Eaton Road in New Miami and attempting to detach it with wire cutters.

Tools valued at $5,000 were stolen from the Jeremy Wyatt residence in the 5000 block of Riverside Drive, Trenton, overnight Sept. 14.

Someone loaded up a power generator belonging to Thomas Johnson and drove away from his Trenton Road residence about 11:20 p.m. Sept. 14. Johnson followed the vehicle, but lost it. The generator is valued at $500.

Decorative wagon wheel valued at $100 were stolen from the Kimberly Conley residence in the 4000 block of Wayne Madison Road, she reported Sept. 11.

Someone broke into the Joseph Mullins residence in the 6000 block of Germantown Road between Sept. 11 and Sept. 13, and damaged or took several items, including clothing, family pictures, toys and pills.

Prescription medication and $50 in cash were stolen from a kitchen drawer of the Kathleen Clark residence in the 200 block of Main Street, Somerville, on Sept. 9.

After a day of cleaning the yard from storm damage on Sept. 16, Robert Janson discovered his car had been stolen from his residence in the 6000 block of English Oak Station. A vehicle reported stolen out of Dayton was found next to the house.

Overnight Sept. 15, thieves broke into Hacker Wood Products, 2144 Jackson Road, through and overhead door and attempted to remove copper wire fro electrical boxes, Gene Smith reported.

A generator was stolen from behind the Tina Pennington residence in the 1900 block of St. Clair St., overnight Sept. 15.

At least four vehicles were ransacked in the 200 block of East Street overnight Sept. 13. Change totaling less than $50 was stolen from the vehicles.

A Brown Road resident reported the theft of a television from his home on Sept. 8.

Adrienne Berkowitz, 20, of East Walnut Street, was charged with misrepresentation on Sept. 8.

A Talawanda High School student reported receiving threats while riding a school bus on Sept. 8.

Oxford police contacted a former Miami University student in reference to a case of misrepresentation on Sept. 8.

A College Corner Pike resident reported the theft of a handgun by his grandson on Sept. 9.

Joshua Schmitz, 20, of Whitehouse, Ohio, was charged with misrepresentation on Sept. 9.

Benjamin Randall, 19, of Stanton Hall, was charged with misrepresentation on Sept. 9.

A South Locust Street resident reported the theft of her mountain bike from the Lane Public Library on Sept. 9.

A Brown Road resident reported theft of two watches from his bedroom on Sept. 9.

Matthew Stasiak, 19, of Flower Hall, was charged with misrepresentation on Sept. 9.

Zachary Stevens, 19, of Carmel, Ind., was charged with misrepresentation on Sept. 9.

Brian Geeding, 20, of Raymar Drive, Cincinnati, was charged with underage intoxication and misrepresentation on Sept. 9.

Meaghan McAvoy, 20, of Mendham, N.J., was charged with misrepresentation on Sept. 9.

Stefan Medvetz, 18, of Dennison Hall, was charged with misrepresentation on Sept. 10.

An East Church Street resident reported the theft of a porch swing from her home on Sept. 10.

A College Corner Pike resident reported the theft of prescription medication on Sept. 10.

Jordan Sheer, 19, of Anderson Hall, was charged with misrepresentation on Sept. 10.

The parent of a Talawanda Middle School student reported her daughter being threatened on the school bus on Sept. 10.

A Loveland resident reported damage to the passenger side window of her vehicle on Sept. 10.

A DP Dough employee reported the theft of a door mat from the business' entrance on Sept. 10.

A Wendy's employee reported receiving a fake $20 bill from a customer on Sept. 11.

Adam Tzagournis, of Fort Lee, N.J., was charged with underage intoxication, criminal mischief and criminal trespass on Sept. 13.

John Abraham, 19, of North Olmstead, Ohio, was charged with underage intoxication on Sept. 13.
