Have you been asked to fake income information on a home loan?

Staff Report

Friday, September 05, 2008

New evidence shows many of the families facing foreclosure today were asked by their lending institution to fake their income level on their mortgage application to get approved.

Have you or someone you know been asked to provide a higher amount for your income in order to get approved for a home loan? Did a lending official pressure you into claiming income you don't have?

Are you a lending official who was asked to change income levels of customers to get more loans approved?

We need your help to get to the bottom of this foreclosure problem in the southwest Ohio area. If you have information, please contact Business Reporter Jessica Heffner at (513) 705-2843, or e-mail jheffner@coxohio.com.
