Butler County Grand Jury

A Butler County grand jury returned 32 indictments during its third session in August. The grand jury also returned four case to the lower courts for further disposition.

Scott L. Whiting, 33, 813 Harvard Drive, Apt. A, Lebanon; indicted on one count of complicity to theft.

Keith S. Conley, 26, 2060 Woodtrail, #13, Fairfield; indicted on one count each of failure to stop after an accident and driving under suspension.

Michael Wilson, 44, 2318 Woodburn Ave., Middletown; certified back to the lower court on one count each of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, reckless operation, and seat belt required.

Christopher Gibson, 25, 1025 Heaton, Hamilton; indicted on one count of possession of cocaine.

Willard Chaney, 35, 928 Franklin Ave., Brookville, Ind.; indicted on one count of possession of cocaine.

Arsen Movsisyan, 38, 1333 N. Kingley Drive, Apt. 6, Los Angeles, Calif.; indicted on two counts of operating a motor vehicle under the influence and one count of aggravated vehicular assault.

Rick Newman Jr., 35, 2479 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason; indicted on one count of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.

Jesse Riley, 25, 137 Kelly Drive, Oxford; indicted on one count of corrupting another with drugs (direct).

Andre D. Miles II, 27, 133 Sheffield Lane, Cincinnati; indicted on one count of aggravated robbery.

Ryan J. Drayton, 24, 475 W. Point Pleasant, Fairfield; indicted on one count of felonious assault (direct).

Victoria K. Hess, 53, 7873 MIllcreek Circle, West Chester Twp.; indicted on one count each of trafficking in marijuana (direct) and possession of marijuana (direct).

David Z. McDonald, 20, 13 Lincoln Terrace, Apt. 13, Cincinnati; indicted on one count each of assault (direct) and resisting arrest (direct).

Angelika M. Gilkison, 28, 3558 Wehr Road, Hamilton; indicted on one count of perjury (direct).

Butler County Sheriff's Office

A bicycle and four-wheeler were stolen from the back yard of the Melody Brewer residence in the 6000 block of Lorraine Drive between Aug. 21 and Aug. 24.

Jewelry and a Wii system were stolen from the Robert Crichton residence in the 2000 block of Nicholes Road overnight Aug. 22 by someone who kicked in the door to gain access.

Someone took $432 from Eugina Wells' wallet between Aug. 18 and Aug. 20 while her purse was at her residence in the 3000 block of Trenton Road.

A mailbox and barn were struck on the morning of Aug. 20 by a runaway rubber tire roller. James Hail of American Payments Inc. said he was operating the roller on Alert New London Road in Okeana when it came out of gear and hit a mailbox and barn in the 6000 block.

The front door of the Kathleen Sieg residence in the 6000 block of Jacksonburg Road was forced open Aug. 19 by someone who took two pairs of Nike socks, a purse and a bottle of shampoo.

Thieves took $4,000 and 150 Xanax pills from a safe at the Danny Holden residence in the first block of Olinger Drive, New Miami, between Aug. 14 and 21.

Fairfield Police Department

Someone threw rocks over the fence between 6 p.m. Aug. 18 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 19 at Lodder's Marine, 6151 Dixie Hwy., causing $1,160 in collective damage to six boats.

Amy N. Garcia, 28, of Mount Healthy, was arrested at 3:09 p.m. Aug. 19 at Pleasant Avenue and Vondehaar Drive on suspicion of burglary.

Jerese Leshaun Lee, 29, of Cincinnati, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Aug. 20 at the Fairfield Tavern, 5353 Dixie Highway, on suspicion of assault.

Aaron R. Civils, 27, of Cincinnati, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Aug. 20 at Fairfield Tavern, 5353 Pleasant Avenue, on suspicion of assault.

David M. Hambrick, 28, of Cincinnati, was arrested at 2:56 a.m. Aug. 20 at Fairfield Tavern, 5353 Pleasant Avenue, on suspicion of two counts of assault.

Israel I. Craddock, 24, of Cincinnati, was arrested at 3:11 a.m. Aug. 20 at Fairfield Tavern, 5353 Pleasant Avenue, on suspicion of assault.

Amy N. Garcia, 28, of Mount Healthy, was arrested at 1:14 p.m. Aug. 20 at Mercy Hospital Fairfield, 3000 Mack Road, on suspicion of two counts of making false alarms.

Athena Gabrielle Walsh, 27, of Fairfield, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 4600 block of Pleasant Avenue on suspicion of attempt. Police report she allegedly ordered a fraudulent prescription and attempted to pick it up.

David Scott Wilkins, 41, of Fairfield, was arrested at 11:38 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 5000 block of Pleasant Avenue on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired and urinating in public.

Christopher A. Bracken, 26, of Fairfield, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Aug. 21 in the 5400 block of Southgate Boulevard on suspicion of physical control.

Edil Alfredo Arias-Anariba, 25, of Cincinnati, was arrested at 6:57 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 6300 block of South Gilmore Road on suspicion of petty theft.

Michael C. Hensley, 32, of Fairfield, was arrested at 5:26 a.m. Aug. 23 on Bypass Ohio 4 at Dixie Highway on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired.

Chad W. Troxell, 27, of Cincinnati, was arrested at 3:36 a.m. Aug. 24 in the 5900 block of Boymel Drive on suspicion of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal damaging.

Tevaughn Lemark Horsley, 18, of Fairfield, was arrested at 4:35 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, in Reading for an offense in the 6100 block of Winton Road on suspicion of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Fairfield Twp. Police Department

Valerie Leo, 25, of Cincinnati, and Ryan M. Scott, 21, Fairfield Twp., were arrested at 2:45 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 3200 block of Princeton Road on suspicion of theft.

Lee M. Lloyd, 47, of Hamilton, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 3100 block of Princeton Road on suspicion of theft.

A 17-year-old Fairfield Twp. boy was arrested at 6:18 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 6100 block of River Road on suspicion of menacing.

William Tillett, 18, of Fairfield Twp., and Teresa Jarrmillo, 47, were arrested at 10:03 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 1900 block of Fairgrove Avenue. Tillett was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and contribution to the unruliness/delinquency of a child. Jarrmillo was arrested on suspicion of trafficking in drugs.

Anthony Adam Price, 21, of Fairfield Twp., was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 1400 block of Milton Road on suspicion of telecommunications harassment and menacing.

Anthony J.S. Scenter, 26, and Stephen Strunk, 29, both of Fairfield Twp., were arrested at 10:26 a.m. Aug. 25 in the 1800 block of Canal Avenue. Scenter was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass and obstructing official business. Strunk was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass and obstructing justice.

A 17-year-old Fairfield Twp. boy was arrested at 6:41 p.m. Aug. 25 in the 6100 block of River Road on suspicion of aggravated menacing.

Hamilton Police Department

Terry Wayne Adkins, 28, of the 1600 block of Chipewa Avenue, Hamilton, was arrested Aug. 22 on charges of felonious assault. Police reported Adkins had a warrant out of Hamilton Municipal Court.

Lamar C. Preston, 34, of the 1100 block of Western Avenue, Hamilton, was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 26, on charges of burglary and theft. Police reported Preston went through an unlocked window and took a purse and phone from the residence.

Luther G. Wells Jr., 61, of the 300 block of Hancock Avenue, Hamilton, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 27, on charges of trafficking. Police reported Wells was returning from an outside visit when Wells was found to have a prescription bottle with the label torn off that contained 53 Oxycontin and Oxycodone pills. Police reported this occurred within a school area and Wells was unable to supply a prescription for the medication.

West Chester Twp. Police Department

Michael Hawley, 35, was charged Aug. 21 with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 6400 block of Centre Pointe Drive. Hawley was cited and released.

An unidentified thief attempted on Aug. 21 to steal scrap metal from BAE Systems at 8910 LeSaint Drive.

Jessup White, 19, of West Chester Twp., was charged Aug. 21 with drug abuse, trafficking marijuana, possession of cocaine and trafficking drugs after an arrest at his home in the 7300 block of Cincinnati-Dayton Road. Police reported finding Valium pills, marijuana and cocaine packaged for sale, as well as marijuana pipes and a digital scale at his home. White was taken to the Butler County Jail.

Larry Goodin, 34, of West Chester Twp., was charged Aug. 23 with driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license and failure to comply with an order or signal from a police officer after he failed to stop for a traffic violation at the intersection of Steleta Drive and Barrett Road. Goodin was taken to the Butler County Jail.

Melissa Buskirk, 23, of Mason, was charged Aug. 23 with drug abuse and driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 7900 block of Cox Road. Buskirk was taken to the Butler County Jail.

Danielle Huster, 21, of West Chester Twp., was charged Aug. 24 with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on McCauley Road. Huster was cited and released.

Jonathan Degenhart, 36, of Cincinnati, was charged Aug. 24 with driving while intoxicated and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole a relative's car from the 9200 block of McCauley Road. Degenhart was taken to the Butler County Jail.

Roger Rush, 46, of Hamilton, was charged Aug. 24 with driving while intoxicated and endangering children after a traffic stop at the intersection of Tylersville and Princeton-Glendale roads. Rush was cited and released.

Mark Rush, 21, of West Chester Twp., was charged Tuesday, Aug. 26, with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at the intersection of Union Centre Boulevard and Cincinnati-Dayton Road. Rush was cited and released.
