Courses offer discounts to frequent golfers

HAMILTON — Frequent tee times at Hamilton's golf courses are like frequent flyer miles in the city's reward card program.

Golfers at the city-owned Twin Run Golf Course, 2505 Eaton Road, can earn a free round of golf after paying for five 18-hole rounds. The cards, available until Oct. 31, cover green fees and can be redeemed through the week, as well as after 3:30 p.m. on weekends.

After one week, Sally Small at Twin Run said the city already has doled out about 200 cards. Small said this year she's seen a lot of new faces, including groups from Cincinnati and Dayton, adding that the course is in excellent condition.

Costs for 18 holes at Twin Run Golf Course are $22 to walk and $35 with a cart. For senior citizens, the cost is $15 to walk and $28 with a cart. The Super Tuesday special is $24 for 18 holes.

The cards are not yet available at the Potters Park Golf Course, 417 Hamilton-New London Road.
