FAIRFIELD — Two male homicide victims killed this weekend in a parking lot near a night club are believed to be from Cincinnati.

Juan Carlos Enamoravo-Gomez, 21, and Evelvin O. Morales, 20, both originally from Honduras, died after being shot near Casa Tequila in the 6700 block of Dixie Highway early Sunday, July 13, according to Butler County Coroner Dr. Richard Burkhardt.

Burkhardt said Monday, July 14, both men were shot in the head. Morales died at the scene. Enamoravo-Gomez was taken to Mercy Hospital Fairfield, where he later died.

Autopsies on the two men were still ongoing Monday afternoon, but the coroner ruled both deaths homicides. Investigators are still trying to sort out why the two men were shot to death.

"We're going to have to piece this together methodically, and right now we still have a number of people to interview," Fairfield Police Chief Michael Dickey said Monday.

Officers found the victims outside an Arby's next to Casa Tequila at 2:14 a.m. Sunday, according to police.

Fairfield Lt. Ken Colburn would not discuss the details of the investigation, but said detectives do not have a suspect in the shooting.
