Three face rape charges in Butler County cases

HAMILTON — Three men accused of rape in separate cases have been indicted, according to the Butler County prosecutor's office.
Brandon Robert Ohmer, 19, of the 4300 block of Valence Drive in Cincinnati, faces three counts of rape and is being held in the Butler County Jail on $75,000 bond. Ohmer was arrested May 22 by the Hamilton Police Department. He is accused of having sexual contact between May and July 2007 with a 6-year-old boy who is a relative, said Assistant Prosecutor Jennifer Muench-McElfresh.
Kenneth Duane Young, 48, of the 1100 block of Baltimore Street in Middletown, is charged with rape, abduction, felonious assault and domestic violence. Young was arrested May 11 by Middletown police, after a neighbor reported hearing a woman screaming in an apartment. Young is being held in the Butler County Jail on $260,000 bond.
Gasper Marquin Solis, 28, is charged with felonious assault and rape. West Chester police arrested the Guatemalan native on May 18 for allegedly assaulting his wife at an apartment on Princeton Square Circle, according to police records. Solis is being held in the Butler County Jail on $50,000 bond.
If convicted on a rape charge, the maximum sentence is life in prison without the possibility of parole, McElfresh said.
