HAMILTON — Last week, just before the release of the sixth edition of the Butler County Sheriff's Office "most wanted" poster, Sgt. Todd Langmeyer said the poster is successful in generating tips that lead to arrests.

Wednesday afternoon, March 26, the sheriff's office announced four of the 10 people pictured had been taken into custody.

On Friday, March 21, Rodrick Curtis was tracked down by the sheriff's office warrants division aided by tips from the public. He was wanted for non payment of child support.

Middletown police arrested Murrie Conley Jr. on Saturday, March 22. He was wanted for drug abuse and failure to register as a sexually-oriented offender.

On Monday, March 24, the warrants division received a tip about the whereabouts of Randall Adkins, who was wanted for non-support payment. He was arrested that day.

Garnet Steele, wanted for escape for failing to respond to her parole officer, was arrested by the sheriff's office road patrol on Tuesday, March 25. Her arrest also was a result of a tip.

The poster can be viewed at the sheriff's office Web site at butlersheriff.org.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of any of the most wanted persons is asked to call the sheriff's office at (513) 785-1300 or call 911.
