MU runners sweep MAC honors again
CLEVELAND — For the second time in three weeks Miami University’s cross country teams swept the Mid-American Conference Runner of the Week awards.
Senior Rachel Patterson won her second women’s award for finishing second at the Spartan Invitational last Friday at Michigan State.
Sophomore David Eichenberger received the men’s award by leading Miami with an 11th-place finish at the Spartan Invitational.
RedHawk golfers win Cardinal title
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Miami men’s golf team won the Louisville Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The RedHawks shot a 1-over 289 in the third round to finish three strokes ahead of runner-up Illinois State.
Nathan Sutherland and Michael Drobnick were the top individual finishers for Miami, tying for sixth at 2-under par.
