Cast your vote for the Journal-News.com high school football Player of the Year! Each Player of the Week winner from the regular season is listed in the poll to the left.

Cast your vote to see the current totals and refresh your browser to vote again. Voting ends Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 3 p.m.

Here are details on the Player of the Year candidates:

Erik Geiser, Ross: Senior quarterback passed for 1,429 yards and 10 TDs.

Jacob Lewis, New Miami: Senior quarterback passed for 1,350 yards and 8 TDs.

John Katenkamp, Cincinnati Christian: Senior fullback rushed for 1,483 yards and 19 TDs.

Devin Jarrett, Hamilton: Junior running back rushed for 1,172 yards and 16 TDs.

Casey Abrams, Talawanda: Versatile sophomore quarterback passed for 473 yards, rushed for 228 and even caught two passes.

Patrick Coyne, Badin: Junior quarterback passed for 1,565 yards and nine TDs.

Tyler Sanders, Badin: Junior wide receiver had 28 receptions for 461 yards and four TDs.

Jordan Thompson, Lakota West: Senior running back rushed for 1,573 yards and 19 TDs.

Way to go John! I was hoping and praying you would win. A lot of us at CCS that started voting for John. It's a close knit school. We truly care about each other. First and foremost is our love for Jesus Christ. I'm sure you would not understand unless you experienced it for your self. If you want your kids to have a quality education in a loving Christian atmosphere, check out Cincinnat Christian School. We're not perfect just forgiven. To God be the Glory!

and katenkamp is getting legit votes, right??? any IT expert will tell you someone is using a voting software for him to have 56,000 votes already

The Coyne kids mommy sits up all night and votes for her son, over and over and over again. Trust me on this!!! Great kid, but the parents are insane..... There's no way he's getting that many votes from his peers, trust me on this!
