GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

BADIN 3, CINCINNATI HILLS CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 0: Rachel Vidourek had nine kills and four aces to lead Badin to a Division III sectional semifinal win on Thursday, Oct. 22 at Monroe High School. The Rams won by scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-17. Megan Abney (17 assists) and Chrissy Carley (13 digs) also contributed for Badin (14-10), which will play Fenwick at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the sectional finals.

FAIRFIELD 3, MILFORD 1: Fairfield lost the first game, but then won three straight to knock off Milford 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-17 on Thursday, Oct. 22 in the Division I sectional semifinals at Lakota East High School. Karsen Cronin lead the Indians (10-14) with 18 kills and 13 digs. Jamie Hoskinson (17 digs), Sarah Luken (five blocks) and Beth Willis (33 assists) also contributed for Fairfield, which will face top-seeded and undefeated Ursuline on Saturday.
