College basketball: MUH men win regular-season finale

CINCINNATI — The Miami University Hamilton men’s basketball team edged Cincinnati Christian College 84-83 on Sunday in the Harriers’ regular-season finale.
Will McCray led MUH with 21 points. Markez Drinks added 19, Ameche Okafor had 16 and Derek Brockman chipped in 11 points and eight assists.
MUH (16-10) opens play in the Ohio Regional Campus state tournament next Sunday at Ohio University Zanesville.
The Miami University Hamilton women’s basketball team dropped an 80-49 decision Sunday at Cincinnati State.
Erin Sharp scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead MUH (12-9).
The Harriers open Ohio Regional Campus state tournament play Sunday at Ohio University Chillicothe.
