KETTERING — GE's local consumer-finance unit has teamed with another organization to offer loan programs for home-improvements, including enhancements for energy efficiency.

The programs will be offered by GE Money's Sales Finance Unit, based in Kettering, and the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corp., according to a news release.

Extras

One of the programs, ClimateSelect, provides a revolving line of credit, which can be used for initial and add-on purchases. The PROJECTLOAN program is an installment loan.

The loans can be used for home improvements to enhance energy efficiency and utility repairs and replacements, including renewable energy conversions such as wind turbines, the companies said.
