William Shatner, who rose to fame playing Captain Kirk on "Star Trek," held an online memorial service Sunday morning for co-star Leonard Nimoy.
Shatner, who faced criticism from tabloids after he announced that he could not make it to Nimoy's funeral, wrote about Nimoy and took questions from fans on Twitter.
Nimoy, who famously played Mr. Spock, died Friday at age 83 after fighting chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The Palm Beach Post's Leslie Gray Streeter also spoke with Shatner on Saturday at the Red Cross Ball in West Palm Beach, Florida.
