Pussycat Doll lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, who majored in acting and musical theater at Wright State University, is among this season’s “Dancing with the Stars” cast members.

Wonder if the Ben-Gals (cheerleaders for the Cincinnati Bengals) will be rooting for Bengals’ Chad Ochocinco, who made the casting cut? Maybe one of his dance routines will incorporate The Ickey Shuffle, a famous touchdown celebration done by former Bengals fullback Elbert “Ickey” Woods.

And speaking of bachelor Jake Pavelka, he says his new fiancee, Vienna Girardi, will be cheering him as he cruises the dance floor.

Other “Dancing” cast members will be former "Baywatch" babe Pamela Anderson, “All My Children” star Aiden Turner, ESPN’s Erin Andrews, actress Shannen Doherty, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, “Reno 911” actress and comedian Niecy Nash, reality stars Jake Pavelka and Kate Gosselin and Olympic gold medal figure skater Evan Lysacek.

"Dancing With the Stars" returns on March 22.
