CINCINNATI — A free screening of the documentary “Food, Inc.” will be presented by Chipotle Mexican Grill at 7:30 p.m. Wed., July 15.

“I hope that all our customers see this film,” said Steve Ells, founder, chairman, and co-CEO of Chipotle. “The more they know about where their food comes from, the more they will appreciate what we do.”

The restaurant is conducting free screenings in select cities nationwide as a means to educate Americans on the nation’s compromised food supply, according to a release.

Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis.

The screening takes place at the Esquire Theatre, 320 Ludlow Ave., in Cincinnati. For more information call the Esquire at (513) 281-8750 or go online to www.chipotle.com/foodinc.

Ironically, the director of Food, Inc Robert Kenner and the co-producer Eric Schlosser have criticized Chipotle for it’s failure to fully address the exploitation of farmworkers in Florida who pick tomatoes bought by the company.
