HAMILTON — A new indoor craft show dubbed The Great Miami Consumer Fair makes its debut in Hamilton on Nov. 14.

The event will take place on the top floor of the Great Miami Event Center and will offer more than 50 vendors selling everything from crafts to jewelry to overstock items and holiday goods.

The event was the brainchild of Hamilton businessman Tony Traub.

“The idea came from going to a lot of craft shows over the summer and fall. Those people love doing it but they didn’t have a building for it. With the economy, a lot of people are getting into crafts to make money,” Traub said.

The craft shows are scheduled to run every two weeks at least through March or April. The frequency of the craft shows may increase if the response is positive, Traub said.
