"This film is funny and great.I found my self upset, happy and then pissed off not because of the film being terrible because its not BUT because of nikkis disrespectful attitude and Richards ability to disrespect his wife with ease. Chris Rock shines the light on this subject that occurs everyday. Men getting involoved with other women on the emotion level that carries over to the physical level due to the lack of the physical connection with their wives. Overall the movie was wonderful. And all three of the main characters did an excellent Job. I think I love my wife is completely refreshing!"

"I only went to see this movie because I did not want to see 300 with my 15 year old. I love Chris Rock as a stand up comedian, but in this character, his acting abilities left a lot to be desired. Kerry Washington was simply beautiful as the vixen and Gina Torres (Lawrence Fishburne's wife) was okay as the desperately mundane housewife. Profanity as well as the N word was excessive. Overall, wait for the video, unless, like myself, it was a choice between watching heads being chopped off and a hideous 'chick flick.' (I chose the latter - and was still disappointed!!!)"

Could have been so much better......

"Too much flippant use of the N-word took away from what would have been a pretty good movie. Especially the term "N***er ears" which was horrible. In a time when we are trying to get away from the N-word (Michael Richards' tirade on stage) and you even had a South Park episode recently about the N-word that is a must see (it drilled home some great points!), I think this movie destroyed much of the headway we have made towards discouraging the use of the N-word in this country."

"Too much profanity; the ending was horrible. They sung a song to each other. I didn't get that part! How many times can you use the N-word? "
