get a clue people! you are only charged for utilities you use so you can't be charged for electric that wasn't even used-- we are lucky to have a small local utility company that cares about the community-- i went without power for 36 hours but i also know the city had utility workers out working that whole time-- thank you city of hamilton for keeping it local--i'd hate to have to wait for out of state workers or call someone in india to find anything out-way to go city of hamilton!!!!

Maybe a tornado could wipe out that annoying scaffolding which has been cluttering up busy downtown Hamilton for ten years.

It's sad to see people complain about 20 hours w/out electric. You can't control what the weather does or which community it hits.

Jim, I don’t need to check with anyone. I remember driving out of Hamilton, and as soon as I drove into Fairfield the traffic lights worked and residents had their lights on.

I guess HamiltonResident should check with the thousands of Duke customers (that serves Fairfield) who were without power for even longer.

Your argument would make sense if ALL the areas around lost electricity for 20 hours too. The truth is, if you wanted to see houses with lights and working traffic lights, all you had to do was travel to Fairfield.
