The nation’s largest franchise dedicated to men’s and boys’ hair care will open next week in Middletown’s Towne Mall Galleria shopping center.
Scheduled to debut next Tuesday at 3427 Towne Blvd. next to Buffalo Wild Wings, the new, locally-owned Sports Clips is the latest of the franchise’s more than 1,600 locations across the United States and Canada.
“Sport Clips offers our clients the expertise of well-trained stylists in a fun, casual environment where they can enjoy watching sports on TV during their haircut,” said Tim Kendrick, the new location’s owner. “We’re looking forward to introducing clients to our services and distinctive experience. The Sport Clips concept is growing across the country and we’re proud to make it a part of Middletown’s retail community.”
Founded in 1993, Sport Clips offers a variety of haircut services, including the “MVP Experience,” which features a haircut, massaging shampoo, hot steamed towel treatment, plus a neck and shoulder massage.
Also featured at the new location will be massaging chairs in the shampoo area and large, flatscreen televisions playing sports programming at each haircut station and in the lobby.
Haircut services are offered without an appointment.
Hours of operation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m to 5 p.m. Sundays.
