This Butler County company has a new CEO

The world's largest marketer of umbrellas, gloves, slippers and other weather-related accessories has joined the list of Cincinnati-Dayton area companies under new leadership in 2016.

West Chester Twp.-based totes-Isotoner Corp. announced Feb. 11 its board of directors has appointed Daniel Rajczak — a Procter & Gamble Co. alum — as its new president and chief executive officer. The appointment is now effective.

Former president and CEO Douglas Gernert retired, according to the company. Gernert filled the role of chief executive of totes-Isotoner for more than 20 years and will continue to be involved as a board member, advisor and shareholder, according to totes.

New leader Rajczak was previously president of North America and chief operating officer for Shaklee Corp., and before that, spent over 25 years at Cincinnati consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble, according to totes.

According to totes, it is the world’s largest marketer of weather-related accessories and has over 800 employees with offices in Greater Cincinnati, New York, Toronto, London, Paris and Manila. In 2014, totes-Isotoner was acquired by private equity firm Freeman Spogli & Co., Investcorp and some members of the senior management team, according to a release.
