Nursing home network with local presence changes branding

An Ohio company that provides continuing care to senior citizens has changed its name and branding, and a local nursing home will be affected.

Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services, a provider of life plan communities and services, changed its name to Ohio Living. Senior Independence, the organization’s home health and hospice provider, will be known as Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice, and their charitable foundation will be Ohio Living Foundation.

Mount Pleasant Retirement Village in Monroe will change its name to Ohio Living Mount Pleasant, and Cape May Retirement Village in Wilmington will change its name to Ohio Living Cape May.

“We selected Ohio Living because it embodies the essence of who we are as an organization – a community of people who celebrate living,” said Laurence Gumina, Ohio Living CEO.

The company has more than 3,200 employees in the state and serves more than 73,000 adults.
