An area logistics company is growing and hiring more employees to handle that growth

Caruso Logistics is looking to hire five warehouse order pickers, four warehouse sorters and a data entry clerk. All positions are full-time positions. The Sharonville company is also hiring a yet-to-be-determined amount of pickers and packers on a seasonal basis.

Located about a half mile south of the border of Butler and Hamilton counties at 3465 Hauck Road in Sharonville, Caruso serves as a third party, food grade warehouse for a broad base of customers in a variety of industries. It assists retailers, wholesalers, grower/shippers, manufacturers and truck brokers with supply chain optimization.

The three-generation company, which has been around since 1932, employs between 100 to 249 people and distributes a variety of products, primarily fresh produce, throughout a 12-state region, according to HR recruiter Alberto Daglio.

Caruso’s food grade distribution centers are located in Cincinnati; Ephrata, Penn.; Richmond, Va.; and Indianapolis, Ind.

“Caruso’s rich history positions us as a leader in quality, service and innovation,” Daglio told the Journal-News. “Our diversified trucking fleet and food grade warehouses enable us to grow with your business, as we have for three generations. We offer our associates the opportunity to grow personally and professionally and to contribute to the success of a dynamic, growing organization.”

Recent growth has allowed the company to provide a wide array of advancement opportunities, Daglio said. The current hiring effort is part of a larger-scale, long-term hiring plan, he said.

“With our new programs, we have been in a state of growth for the past year which has showed no signs of slowing down,” Daglio said. “Many new positions have been created and the success of the company is mainly due to the amazing work from Caruso team members who have really gone up and beyond the call of duty.”
