Interim leader at Hamilton business chamber named

The Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce has named an interim president/CEO.

Scott Ellsworth will serve at the post for at least the next two months, according to Dave Lippert, chairman of the board for the chamber.

“Scott brings a wealth of business experience as he led Tipco Punch, a local manufacturing company,” Lippert said in a written statement. “Over the past two years he has been leading a national business advocacy group based out of Washington, D.C. — Business Leaders United for Workforce Partnerships.

Ellsworth will have approximately two weeks overlap with Kenny Craig, who will be with the chamber until April 22.

The chamber announced March 31 that Craig is leaving his post of 14 years to take an out-of-state job.

Ellsworth’s chamber experience includes a complete rotation through the leadership chairs and involvement in key committees, according to Lippert.
